How Hot News is written
Hot News pieces are written by AI from public social media posts and news sources. A human editor reviews each piece before it is published. Every piece links to the original posts it draws on, in its Sources list.
Who can ask
- You wrote a post that a piece quotes or summarizes.
- You own an image that appears in a piece.
- You are named or described in a piece.
- You found a factual error, a wrong quote or a wrong attribution.
How to ask
Email chris.chimen@gmail.com with:
- The link to the article.
- What should be removed or corrected.
- Your connection to it. For example, a link to your original post from your own account, or where the image was first published.
What we do
- We read every request.
- If it is about your own post, your image or information about you, we remove or correct it.
- If we cannot confirm your connection, we ask you for more.
- We reply by email and say what we changed.
A removed or corrected piece changes on this site and in the GemCommunity News Chrome extension. We cannot change copies that search engines, AI tools or readers already saved on their own devices.
